The Ocean Atlantic is the perfect ship for expedition cruises in Antarctic waters! Newly refurbished in 2016 and with an international ice class rating of 1B, she is one of the most powerful vessels operating in Antarctica. Her high manoeuvrability, her shallow draft and her powerful engines enable extended trips into remote fjords and ensure exciting adventures for every Antarctic traveler.

The Ocean Atlantic is newly renovated (2016) and features elegant common areas and accommodation for 198 passengers.
The ship was built in 1985 and underwent a major renovation in 2010. With a length of 140 m, it offers ample space on several decks for several lecture halls, a relaxed restaurant with international 4-star cuisine, bars with professional staff and observation decks - and even a pool.

All common areas on the Erickson deck are equipped with large windows, allowing passengers to quickly and conveniently view the passing whales and photographic sights from the lounges.
All private cabins are stylishly decorated and feature en-suite bathrooms, internal call phones, individual temperature controls and televisions. Ideal for relaxing, they range in size from 11 to 35 m2 and are fitted with either portholes or windows.

The fleet of 20 Zodiacs allows daily shore excursions to penguin colonies, research stations and other Antarctic and Arctic wonders.
