Both Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit will offer our wide range of expedition activities organized and guided by a knowledgeable, world-class team of 26 scientists, scholars, naturalists and other experts.

Seabourn Venture and her sister ship, Seabourn Pursuit, will offer a wide range of included shore excursions in almost every destination they call at. In addition, the ships will offer included expedition experiences such as hiking, snorkeling and diving adventures, and Zodiac cruises. Our guests have plenty of opportunities to explore spectacular destinations through exciting water adventures, from scenic fjord cruises and waterways to trekking adventures on beautiful islands and educational bird, seal, whale and other wildlife watching. In addition to complimentary excursions, the ships also offer optional shore excursions and Seabourn Expeditions using kayaks and two purpose-built submarines in select destinations. These experiences offer insights into wildlife and natural landscapes, as well as an unforgettable, close encounter with the ocean's wonderful underwater world.

Designed for sightseeing and landings in remote destinations, our Zodiacs bring depth, dimension and more detail to the Seabourn experience. They allow guests to "zoom in" on their travel destinations even further and see a stunning array of natural wonders up close.

Our optional snorkeling adventures offer guests who do not have a diving certificate great opportunities to immerse themselves in the underwater world of our destinations in warmer regions. Just like our diving offer, this option is accompanied by our experts who have been thoroughly trained in all safety procedures.

Seabourn's ultra-luxurious, purpose-built expedition ship Seabourn Venture - perfectly suited to the off-the-beaten-track destinations of the brand's highly successful Expedition and Ventures by Seabourn excursion programs and the fascinating places yet to be discovered.
Seabourn Venture's maiden voyage was in 2022, with sister ship Seabourn Pursuit scheduled to follow in 2023. Both ships will be designed and built for different environments to PC6 Polar Class standards and feature a variety of modern hardware and technologies that expand the ships' global operations and capabilities. The new ships, to be built by T. Mariotti, will feature an all-new, innovative design, designed specifically for the luxury expedition traveler and incorporating many of the features that have made Seabourn ships so successful.
A new and exciting offering aretwo custom-built submarines on board,offering an unforgettable view of the world beneath the surface of the sea. The ships will also be designed to carry double sea kayaks as well as 24 Zodiacs that can accommodate all guests on board at once, allowing for a truly immersive experience. Each ship features 132 Ocean View Veranda Suites.

Construction on the Seabourn Pursuit began in the fall of 2020 during a ceremony in San Giorgo di Nogare, Italy, and the construction process is well underway. The ship is scheduled for delivery in February 2023, with sister ship Seabourn Venture delivered in April 2022.
Seabourn Pursuit is the second Seabourn expedition ship, scheduled for launch in February 2023. Both Seabourn Pursuit and sister ship Seabourn Venture are designed and built to PC6 polar class standards for different environments and feature advanced hardware and technologies that expand the ships' global operations and capabilities. Each ship features two custom-built submarines, 24 Zodiacs, kayaks, and a 26-strong expedition team tasked with mentoring guests on each voyage.
A highlight in August 2023 is the Northwest Passage journey through some of the most remote areas of the Northern Hemisphere from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland to Nome, Alaska. Seabourn Pursuit inaugural season itineraries will be available for sale beginning mid-December 2021.
